3.2 Management Summary

Avenue Investments Ltd is managed by well qualified and competent personnel Alpha Charles Karamagi, Vivien Yiga Tusabe and Moses Alibhai

Vivien is a talented professional who holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Kyambogo University that she obtained while doing her industrial training with Uganda Police and Electoral Commission in the engineering field. She started her apprenticeship and early training as a Telecom and Electrical Engineer soon after graduation in 2008.

Vivien entered the world of Business in 2010 as means to create employment. She quickly gained a reputation for quality and creative work. She has worked exclusively in creative business ventures for the past eight years. She has created a base of customer support that praises her ability to handle all aspects and responsibilities of good business processes.

Alpha Charles Karamagi is the general manager at Avenue investments limited and he holds a Bachelors degree in Business administration from Uganda Christian University. His duties include managing, conducting, training, directing, supervising, organizing and controlling company resources for better output.

He has worked for several companies and has a wide knowledge in running medium and large companies like Pawakom international ltd,a renewable energy development company in Uganda which is involved in geothermal exploration and development, solar energy development at national grid level. He was very instrumental in energy key projects where he was managing and providing leadership to the board of directors of the company.

He has also been chief executive officer (C.E.O) of Marua Group Ltd a leading mining company in Uganda where is responsibilities included making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of a company and also played a major key role in creating, planning, implementing and integrating the strategic directions of the company, his roles were very instrumental in turning the company into very profitable and prestigious enterprise.

He has also served as a credit analyst at Equity Bank Uganda Limited formally Uganda Micro finance limited a major financial institution in Uganda with a very large foot in Africa.

He worked for CAL Uganda limited a leading IBM reseller and service provider company in Uganda

Moses Alibhai is qualified procurement and marketing manager with experience of over 10years. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Information technology and a Diploma in entrepreneurship which he achieved from Uganda Christian University. He also hold a certificate in procurement which he achieved from procurement international under the world bank.

He has worked with companies like Civicon has the procurement manager and Infosys has the head of marketing.

3.3 Personnel Plan

Avenue Investments Ltd division has staff of up to 25 people. However, when the work load increases more skilled personnel are out-sourced to ensure timely deliveries.

Avenue Investments Ltd has 5 well trained technical personnel in different branches of engineering.

Our strengths lie in combining our strategic growth understanding with our market expertise and applying these with absolute commitment to our clients’ satisfaction. Our core business growth imperatives are to work with clients to maximize the pace and alignment required to deliver.

As outlined earlier, the company is composed of well – trained and dedicated staff who have acquired years of technical expertise on marketing, site design, creative design study etc, and on the job training.
